    Is Adaptive QoS not working for these 3 particular models on 3.0.0.6 firmware only or does it also affect the older HND5.04 models on the older 3.0.0.4 firmware?

    I always end up going back to FlexQoS. In my environment CAKE latency test are really good. But it seems I've noticed slight lag (its not often, but its there) while gaming on CoD. I have couple wireless gaming devices that never lag with Flex enabled while playing same game (CoD). Others...

    Definitely...I don't buy Asus routers to use their stock firmware. RMerlin firmware is the way to go!

    It's up to you on how much of a hassle this may be and if you want to wait (might be awhile). However, if you do try 3.0.0.6, it's recommended to reset router when gng from Merlin to stock firmware and vice versa. Let us know how 3.0.0.6 is working for you.

    I believe you're right....I believe when the router is initially setup, the Aura is "on" by default. Mine shows ledg_scheme=1 as I just setup my router and I didn't mess with Aura RGB setup. The Asus app shows:
