    O have the 2 and the 98 is better but the 16000 is fine on my 8000/8000 you need to disable qos and trend micro stuff and important if you need to enable trendmicro you need first to widtraw the policy it works fine after you do that

    My 16000 does the 10gb on downloads and 100% on uploads, there is more variation on downloads, iam o xgspon so its 8gb/8gb becouse of overhead, iam trying to get rid of that variation on downloads with the gtbe98, Thanks for the reply

    My idea for this router is its more powerfull to control my 10gb/10gb conection (more stable) i dont really care about the wifi stuff, i only need 800 to 1000mb over wifi for ipads, iphones etc, hope its a litle more powerfull then my GTAXE16000

    I agree, but this is not the case….. And this firmware is ok but its not free of problems And no one is bashing a company routers from Asus are not burning cpus like motherboards or something like that lol. Iam still going to buy Asus, of your needs are met thats fine great for you. Best...

    But you dont need to do factory reset only that, But hard reset from time to time does not harm or if power of the router for a minute or two

    In the admnistration tab go to privacy and do widraw in both or the one active you can enable after, and test again Regards

    When consumers start defending wrong choices from big brands….. Asus is wrong, and if ppl stand by it Will only be worse for every one and every model, not only on routers but every asus product.

    They do or they did, there was a beta release channel here from Asus (it died) and you have merlin here that give its great support and new features, but there is limits for what he can do and he needs asus firmwares that are getting i dont say worse but diferent dunno whats happenning

    i dont think Ubiquiti and Asus are on the same page, they are not direct competitors... i allways bought Asus and i like it simple and reliable, problem is i buy the top and the top is allways left behind iam thinking of the new GT98 pro only becouse of more cpu power for my 10gb conection but...
