Sometimes you have to restart both the router and the gaming system/PC after an update for open NAT to be reported.

I find Cloudflare to be pretty reliable, and they have much closer POP to me as well. Sometimes Quad9 routes me to the other side of the US.

I think the point is the information used to make the decision on who to trust has to come from somewhere, and there aren’t a lot of reliable sources. Otherwise it’s vibes and gut feelings guiding decision making.

I have 1400Mb connection and on my AX88U Pro it goes full speed with AiProtection on. The system does a light inspection. The results depend on the processor speed. What model are you using?

Thanks @bennor and @MDM for your suggestions. I ended up blocking 8888 and 8844 in Network Services Filter for each device, and that worked.

UPnP is as safe as the devices on your LAN using it. Securing the devices using outbound connections is outside of the scope of UPnP itself. The continued UPnP FUD is ridiculous. If you have clients abusing UPnP you probably have bigger problems.
