    Flint (GL.iNet) sketchy/deceiving behaviour

This is almost a word for word copy of this post on Reddit and I responded there, so I’ll respond the same here as well:

    OpenSpeedTest as an Addon

Hey all — I’m running OpenSpeedTest with NGINX directly on my Broadcom-based router (Asuswrt). During Speedtest downloads (i.e., when the router is serving data to a wired client), I’m seeing a major performance bottleneck over Ethernet. The download speeds are much lower than expected, while...

MerlinAU MerlinAU v1.4.9 - The Ultimate Firmware Auto-Updater (WEBUI + GNUTON SUPPORT!)

I couldn’t tell since it loads the CLI UI right after updating and my eyes aren’t what they used to be. But all is well now so keeping the minimum as 1.3.12 is the right call, imho. Thanks for this awesome addition. Hard to believe where this started and all the naysayers and look at ya’ll now. 🚀

MerlinAU MerlinAU v1.4.9 - The Ultimate Firmware Auto-Updater (WEBUI + GNUTON SUPPORT!)

Forcing update from the CLI worked to upgrade the CLI. I had to run it a second time to get the webUI menu to appear. Looks like you already updated the announcement to change the requirements to have 1.3.12 as the minimum to upgrade from. 😃

MerlinAU MerlinAU v1.4.9 - The Ultimate Firmware Auto-Updater (WEBUI + GNUTON SUPPORT!)

On my AP2, I’m having a challenge force updating from 1.3.10 to 1.4.0. Don’t really see any error, just won’t update from the CLI UI via force update

That worked. This is from my ipad pro 13”. Once I get back in front of a real computer I can send you details from inspector.

MerlinAU MerlinAU v1.4.9 - The Ultimate Firmware Auto-Updater (WEBUI + GNUTON SUPPORT!)

I was referring to the section “schedule for F/W update checks” which has the correct hour but doesn’t have options for weeks or once a month. Maybe I’m misunderstanding the use of this section relative to the “enable automatic F/W update checks” section?

16 to 24 port L2 Managed Switch Recommendation

I struggled with something similar for a while because I also needed POE and 48port with 10GBE option. There are really very few options if you want silent POE operation. Outside of the ICX7150-48P, I’m aware of no other switch like this.

Does this work for the beta releases? I might have misunderstood that it was only for stable release train. Also not in the screenshot I shared, the Saturday checkbox and text are disconnected. For the other item mentioned, in the webUI no indicator that it’s updating on a monthly basis.

Like the new layout! Much cleaner. Can you add support for on the webUI for monthly updates? One other suggestion is if you could increment your beta releases and add auto updates. 😃

MerlinAU MerlinAU v1.4.9 - The Ultimate Firmware Auto-Updater (WEBUI + GNUTON SUPPORT!)

Loving this! Here are my thoughts on the UI UX and other items. 1. Suggest collapsing all configuration items into their own section with a single save button. It all fits within a single screen so really no need to separate them out into different sections. 2. Move the action buttons to their...
