    Wireguard MTU?

I'm using a Wireguard config from my VPN provider. I notice doing ping tests that it sets the MTU at 1420 for the WG connection. Is there any advantage to setting the MTU on the modem and/or the router WAN to 1392? RT-AX86U

WAN DNS (DNS Server vs DoT)

Looking at the WAN page, I understand I can assign the DNS instead of just getting it from my ISP. My question is how does this work with selecting "DNS-Over-TLS" under "DNS Privacy Protocol"? It would seem that these settings would compete with each other? Thanks.

CAKE settings for "IP Passthrough" (not bridged)?

Running my RT-AC86U with a BGW210-700 modem (ATT DSL). The modem does not offer a true bridged mode, but it does offer "IP Passthrough," which seems to do the same thing. My question is which of the CAKE "WAN Packet Overhead" and Mode (ATM/PTM/Normal) settings would apply here? On the modem...

    Bonded DSL on RT-AC1900P

My ISP has a deal on bonded DSL, which would effectively double my current speeds up and down. Would I be able to continue to use my RT-AC1900P as my router, presumably in dual WAN mode? I am currently running my DSL modem in bridge mode with it, and it works very well. Thank you for any...

    "WAN Packet Overhead"/QOS question

RT-AC1900P Router. Question: If I have already set my upload bandwidth at a fraction of the maximum bandwidth using Traditional QOS, is there any other benefit to enabling the "WAN Packet Overhead" feature? I'm running ADSL in bridge mode, with a 12/768k connection. .55Mb/s seems to work well...

Adaptive QOS and higher buffer bloat - AC1900P

Been playing with the Adaptive QoS feature on my newish AC1900P, which wasn't available on my old N66U. With adaptive QoS on, I'm seeing upload buffer bloat from 800->1000ms. When I use the manual settings in "traditional QoS" mode, it stays 20-100ms (in the "green" using dslreports speedtest)...

    N66 to 1900P - reuse config?

Upgrading to a 1900P. Is it advised to use the same saved config, or is this even possible? Risks? Thanks.
