    RT-AC5300 Bad firmware flash

    My RT-AC5300 had been working fine until last night. I checked the router GUI and it reported a new F/W: v.3.0.0.4.384.81930. So I updated, the update seemed to have gone OK. The router rebooted, I power cycled after the reboot, and when the router came back up, it now reboots every few minutes...

    RT-AC5300 FW 3.0.0.4.81827

    A f/w search on the ASUS website for the RT-AC5300 shows v 3.0.0.4.384.81827 as current, dated 04/22/20. The d/l link, however, gives a 404 not found error, and checking auto update on the router shows that 3.0.0.4.384.81792 from 04/15/20 is current. I'm guessing either a mistake on ASUS side...

    Asus support web site down for last two days no ETA to fix

    Have been trying to d/l f/w for my ac3200 for the past two days...web site not working, Asus tech support says they know about situation and are working on it, but no ETA to fix and no alternative way to d/l f/w. Unacceptable...they at least should have another way to get the f/w if they can't...
