    BTW, when performing a Method 2 reset, it is recommended that you 1st download the new FW to a local computer, verify the checksum, and upload to your router. This will help avoid FW glitch/corruption that is rare but can occur in the typical router FW upload process.

    Try a different browser. Safari has a history of compatibility issues. Consider Brave browser. If you do, you must deactivate "Brave Shields" for asusrouter.com. "Brave Shields" blocks some scripts used for ads and sometimes website function scripts.

    Similar situation on current gen 88U-PRO FW. The client list does update but seems to take a while (minutes to hours). Could be a browser cache issue. Or, could be a router batch process that runs occasionally. Just never spent the time to diagnose.
