    Not likely. The GPL that Asus supply's to Merlin are not released to the public.

    Look at the nat table on the AT&T gateway in passthrough mode. You will see the natting keeps being logged.

    Yes he does because AT&T needs the gateway to authenticate his connection. There use to be ways to get around this not sure if it still works.

    Even with the AT&T gateway in passthrough it's still doing a double nat there is no way around it. Just something to understand.

    People RMerlin does not support the Asus App. He has been painfully clear on this. You want the App to work go back to stock Asus firmware.

    Possibly, but Asus recommending a factory reset is simply for one reason. It will kick in the new password limitations and force you to comply.

    Yes set the router back up as if it was new. Looks like it may have got factory reset. After set up reboot the router and gateway and any device that uses it.

    Is this a new router ? The page you are seeing wants you to set up the the router for the first time have you done this ? You will also need to power cycle the modem/gateway after any change with what"s hooked up to it.

    Crickets from the developer. Since this issue is not present in current stock firmware it must have been introduced in the Merlin build.
