RT-AX86U Pro firmware - will it get 3.0.0.6?

Where do the numbers in ASUSWRT 4.0 5.0 6.0 ... come from? Doesn't make sense comparing with firmware versions.

How do I decipher the flags in Wireless Log??

Just decided to leave it here for someone who's interested: idx - Network ID (for clients connected to guest networks) MAC - MAC address Associated - self-explanatory Authorized - self-explanatory RSSI - Received Signal Strength Indicator PHY - Wi-Fi standard (may wrongly show "ac" on 2.4GHz)...

Release ASUS RT-AX88U Pro Firmware version 3.0.0.6.102_32843 (2023-11-27)

Yes, I can confirm that the router's DNS doesn't work in guest network, you have to choose an external DNS like Google's 8.8.8.8. Strange that no one else mentions this problem... At least I didn't find anything on this forum or elsewhere.

Release ASUS RT-AX88U Pro Firmware version 3.0.0.6.102_32843 (2023-11-27)

Anyone else having issues with this new Guest Network Pro? I created a defined network "Guest Network", my clients connect but don't have internet access(( Settings are pretty basic - I just entered new SSID, password, turned off Wi-Fi scheduling, chose 2.4GHz band and left the rest as it was.

    hwinfo command

Hello, I'm playing with linux commands in my router, wanted to use "hwinfo" command, but it doesn't work (no output). But i see that it is present in /usr/sbin. Why doesn't it work then?

Where's the Short Guard Interval setting in AsusWrt?

Yes I saw this thread, but can someone confirm that there's no such option in AsusWrt specifically or I'm blind or maybe it is hidden behind some other option? I previously had TP-Link router and it had "Short GI" option in web interface.

Where's the Short Guard Interval setting in AsusWrt?

Hello guys, As the title says, I can't find this option. I want to turn it off to see if it will increase some wifi range in my house. I don't know, maybe there's no need to do this cause the router automatically turns it off/on when needed. Thanks for help.
