    Thanks for the updates! Dual WAN also seems to be affecting mesh functionality. IMO AX88U Pro's firmware is really buggy. Switched Dual WAN off and now it's not connecting to the node: Also I do have MORE THAN 7 devices connected atm.

    Yes that's the one. With AX4200Q it worked properly. But with AX88U Pro it doesn't seem to be working.

    How do I get AiMesh to switch to 5GHz uplink? Cable uplink is not an option. The main router is close enough for 5GHz. No matter how many times I reset/restart the node it still connects via 2.4GHz. Please help.

    What do y'all think about TUF-AX6000 compared to AX88U PRO? https://www.asus.com/product-compare?ProductID=21141,22351&LevelId=networking-iot-servers-wifi-routers Would it be better for 2.4GHz range because of the 6 antennae? Both routers are 4x4 for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands.

    Do you mean like: "2.4GHz 4x4" ? Is this the defining factor for the long 2.4GHz wifi ranges? Isn't the number of antenna improtant? For example AXE7800 with 6 antenna but "2.4GHz 2x2"

    So I tested with the AX4200Q as the main router and my old AX1800S as the mesh node. Still that smart bulb keeps dropping. I even reset that smart bulb. The AX1800S is about 5 meters away from the smart bulb. Still no luck. This is getting to be a headache. I think these "dumb" smart devices...
