Hi guys
I am using the latest version of Merlin firmware on ASUS RT-AC68U and personally really like to see an option showing me which client is downloading and using the internet bandwidth but apparently there is no such an option.
Is that true or I cannot find it?
If this is true is that possible to add this feature to the next version because I guess this might be so useful.
thanks in advance.

Read the included README for the instructions on how to enable IPTraffic.

I have enabled IPTraffic but I do not understand how does it works.
One of my clients is downloadin whith the speed of 60KB/s.

Can you tell me how can I figure out which one?

None of your clients report any usage higher than 1 KB/s in this screenshot, so the traffic might be coming from the router itself. Are you using Download Master or AiCloud? Any VPN setup?

Also, since you have an RT-AC68U, I recommend using the Apps Analysis page under Adaptive QoS. That page will even tell you which protocol is being used, providing you with more details as to what type of traffic is coming from your LAN (once again, it won't report traffic from the router itself).

No. I know where the traffic is coming from but it does not show it. It is one of my devices but I cannot see it.
In Adaptive QoS the situation is a little better. it sometimes show the correct speed and correct client but suddenly all clients show zero usage while they are using the bandwidth like this photo.

What is the difference between Apps analysis ON/OFF?

When set to ON, under each computer it will show you what service is currently generating traffic (i.e. is it HTTP traffic, Email, torrents, etc...)

One thing to note: I don't know if that page supports IPv6 traffic (IPTraffic definitely does not support it).

Merlin can you fix the problem of not showing the right bandwidth usage from clients? It is really annoying and it is impossible to see which client is eating your internet bandwidth.

There's nothing that can be fixed here. The kernel module simply tracks all traffic going through the IPv4 firewall, it's pretty straightforward code which works fine here. The only two possible explanations are if NAT acceleration is enabled, or if your client is somehow using IPv6 (it might be doing so using Toredo, which will tunnel IPv6 traffic through an IPv4 connection).

How come Traffic Analyzer shows the right bandwidth usage in total but Adaptive QoS cannot show bandwidth usage in details?
As you said if the problem is something like IPv6 Traffic Analyzer should not be able to show the bandwidth usage too.

That's not what I said. What I said was that I do not know if Traffic Analyzer supports IPv6 traffic or not.

Even if Traffic Analyzer support IPv6 and Adaptive QoS does not still something is wrong. Traffic Analyzer can show the total bandwidth usage but cannot show the details for every client. (Adaptive QoS shows neither)

In any case, both of these are outside of.my control.
