Using the latest telnet-enable from (https://github.com/bkerler/netgear_telnet) I was able to successfully gain console/telnet.
On the old rt-ac68u with merlin's fw, I have several several vlans defined using robocfg which are associated with different ssid's (some primary, some guest). Effectively this segregates wifi quite well. The device itself handles no dns/dhcp, strictly used as an AP.
I'd like to replicate the same with the rax80, but the commands are different.
First off I need to hook into somewhere where a custom script will run to enable telnet and the vlans on boot. Then I need the actual commands to define the vlans. There is no robocfg. I imagine the process for this is similar to doing the same on the orbi.
Note, I don't need the device to handle dhcp, dns, etc. It strictly functioning as a dumb AP with an upstream firewall handling all the other services.
Any suggestions or pointers where to begin?
