Took the lid off my AX88U and it was pretty easy. Thank you ASUS!
I have concerns about the durability of the WAN port being too loosely soldered to the motherboard. I think in the end my concern is justified. It looks like they didn't fill the PCB through holes with solder, like they typically do and it makes the port a little less stable.

Either way I love this router, and if they made a transparent lid, I would be the first to buy it!
