    I did see the discussion on the kill switch but if possible I always try to connect directly for updates and that was the case today, no VPN and I got the issues on WiFi and wired - not even DHCP or ping was working :rolleyes:

    That is a very interesting review and the speed is very impressive (definitely better than what I am getting on OpenVPN on AX88U or with an older external-compiled wireguard module), but that router (ASUS ZenWiFi XT8) is rather very modern with 4 core * 1.5 GHz or so, even the AXE11000 right now...

    Is it possible that you had some weird value inside some of the "WiFi / Professional" settings, stuff maybe related to DTIM interval or similar (this is the way devices come out of sleep to check if some packets are waiting on WiFi).
