Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.9 Beta is now available

Could be due to the ddos attacks via bnet over the past week. 1gb fiber here in australia (1000/50mbps) and also seeing bnet issues more specifically cod issues since upgrading. Can't say for sure what's causing it but most likely its the game/launcher.

I will try gather some info pertaining to the broken network map. I've seen this on chromium based browsers such as edge and thorium across 2 windows machines.

Looking for feedback: Anyone considering AiCloud important to them?

Happy for it to go. Would love more of these "useless" features to be removed on your firmware. People can still use asuswrt for all the asus features.

RT-AX86U with latest version 3004.388.8_2 always crash and reboot

386.5-2 is solid. I've had my ax86u drop all clients a few times now and also have done clean installs and still happens. Will wait and hope for new asus update or go back to said firmware.

    Advice needed on new router!

I been using a snapshot due to many fixes that have been Included for the wifi. They've found themselves in a bit of a pickle and if people want to stick to "stock" firmware I'd suggest 4.5.6

Fiddly, I tested other games such as destiny 2 and it too also doesn't correctly open ports. So what would be the best thing going forwards? Because xbox consoles also would have this same issue as pc running w10/11.

That's because playstion consoles use a fork of freebsd. The issue is with Windows systems. Call of duty has never used ipv6 for game servers, all of them are ipv4 and fully dedicated.

Moderate or strict Nat types only mean 1 thing, ports aren't forwarded. Its got nothing to do with xbox. It's quite complexing as this could be checked quite easily on your end with a very small free game on steam. This affects Windows 10 and 11 on my testing.

Basically what's happening is that upnp isn't working correctly with Windows for games. A moderate Nat type message appears in games when the ports needed for said games isn't open or being forwarded. You mentioned that the router received no request from Windows in my previous log which tells...

Upnp just doesn't work for gaming hence the moderate Nat type on Windows. Anything else I can try? Basically upnp is not working on this build for games. So it should probably be noted on the front page.
