    Another way to remote-reboot?

That's interesting, I'll have a look. Also interesting... it looks like my DDNS Let's Encrypt certificate expired during this 63-day uptime rather than auto-renewing... anyone know if I can force-renew it now? It's been two days since the manual power cycle and it hasn't renewed yet...

    Another way to remote-reboot?

Yeah unfortunately that didn't work. Fortunately the phone-enabled manual reboot was successful. Thanks!

    Another way to remote-reboot?

Hey all - hopefully easy question. I'm remote-managing my in-laws' AC86U through a VPN server. Problem is, I can't SSH in right now, with the system log in the GUI saying "dropbear: resource temporarily unavailable. vfork: resource temporarily available." The obvious solution is to reboot...

Any scripts that allow for VLAN usage?

Hey guys! I've been happily running Merlin on my Asus modems for several year now, and built Merlin setups for my mom and in-laws. But now my home router has been a 3200 (no longer supported by Merlin), and anyway it has insufficient LAN ports for my growing home network. So... I've built a...

Unbound unbound_manager (Manager/Installer utility for unbound - Recursive DNS Server) - General questions / discussion thread 2

So I just updated Unbound and the update failed... Segmentation fault Segmentation fault ***ERROR INVALID unbound configuration - use option 'vx' to correct 'unbound.conf' or 'rl' to load a valid configuration file or 'e' exit; then issue debug command...

    Pulling my hair out!!

Unfortunately I think that winds up being trumped by the DROP lines since I have internet access off for the camera.

    Pulling my hair out!!

Oop! Ha - typo! Should be 192.168.1.254. Good catch. Will fix the original post. :)

    Pulling my hair out!!

Guys, see the attached network diagram. I foolishly changed some settings trying to solve one issue and created another. As you can see, I have a Linksys running DD-WRT "inside" of my Asus 3200 running Merlin. (Linksys on static IP: 192.168.1.254) So originally I had the Linksys running as...

    Skynet SkyNet Install

I know he's futzing around with Github for some reason, but it sounds like his main issue is that after an M&M Reset and full wipe of All The Things, he still can't get Skynet to install. Maybe I misread.

    Skynet SkyNet Install

That's weird, man. Maybe @thelonelycoder has an idea?

ntpMerlin Does ntpMerlin redirect local NTP-queries?

Can you solve the IPv6 issue by disabling IPv6 on the WLAN/LAN? I don't see what benefit it provides in a home environment, anyway.

Unbound unbound_manager (Manager/Installer utility for unbound - Recursive DNS Server) - General questions / discussion thread 2

@Martineau - question for you... what would be the feasability of adding something like Diversion's "Follow DNSMasq" option so we can watch the queries process in real-time? It might aid in troubleshooting issues; or, what do you recommend in terms of observing the service? Thanks!

    amtm USB drives failing

FWIW I have (almost) never ejected my USB drive when rebooting. If you issue the <i>reboot</i> command at the prompt or with the button in the GUI it should be graceful.

    Firewall Script?

I mean, some slowdown is going to be inevitable if you're inspecting every packet. But like I mentioned upthread, you can get a used HP T620+ on eBay for ~$125 and install pfSense...
