    Have you tried to unplug all cables from the node, with the power button still on and let it be disconnected for 10 minutes. (This could be healthy for the main router from time to time as well...) Then plug it in again and let it start up. Then delete the node on the Aimesh page of main router...

    Router trouble RT-AX88U

    To me it sounds like you have built an old school "franken-mesh" system, with a asus router and wifi in one part of the house, and a kind of tp-link pla wifi in the other part of the house, overlapping each other. And hope it will perform as a real mesh system... I doubt you'll ever get...

    If not already tested, try changing the wifi enabled pla endpoint ssid and creds to something completely different from what the main router broadcast.

    Is there a way to disable the flashing alert bell in top right corner?

    Not sure if it will work, but maybe worth a try... Try to change this setting in administration to No, and then reboot router/AiMesh system Won't share any other pointers, other than I think Merlin have chosen a good compromize by having a green flashing bell, rather than a red or yellow one...

    I've experienced the same with a couple of ac88 on 386.13, not being able to log on too the nodes. Everything else seemed to work fine. Just restart the nodes by pulling the power cord made everything work again for me. I also think it's recomended to upgrade the nodes before upgrading the...
