    Thanks. I know I can change the WAN port on the 16000 to either 10G ports or the 2.5G. If I use a 10G port as WAN, can I connect a PC to the 2.5 port? I am pretty sure I can. Big internet outage today. Using my Pixel phone to USB tether to the 6000. Works great!

    I actually did buy a 10 Gb network for 39 from Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DLVW8TBB?tag=snbforums-20 I even tried to install it. But oops that won't fit in an X1 slot . So the cheapest X1 10 Gb was $90 I passed on that.

    But the wifi is slow too. Sometimes barely goes to ~500Mbps. Same on the wired. It flies on the 6000. I wouldn't keep the new 16000. Just test it and return it to satisfy my curiosity.

    I do have a SABRENT USB C to 2.5 Gbps Ethernet LAN. It says it in that Networx speed graph in the screen shot above. (Realtek chipset) Works fine with AX6000. Maybe the 16000 don't like it?
