SNBForums is a community for everyone, no matter what their level of experience.

Please be tolerant and patient of others, especially newcomers. We are all here to share and learn!

The rules are simple: Be patient, be nice, be helpful or be gone!

Computer builder since 1985 (Northstar Horizon); audio engineer at Dolby Labs 1979 - 1989; Software engineer at several small SF Bay Area companies until retiring in 2010. Still active and learning, still solving tech problems as a hobby. I learn by destroying.

Other interests include woodworking, gardening, and reading.

Linux user for past 15+ years, Android user for about 10 years.

Current network: Asus RT-AX88U, old TP-Link Archer C9 as wired hotspot. 4 users including me.
