    My modem, sb 6183 is starting to die, after 5 years. Having to reboot it several times. I like Arris, and was wondering if S33 is a good choice. Xfinity 1gb service, ASUS Ax68U Wifi router. 2 story house, 2600 sq foot, 5 tvs, 2 laptop

    It is power cycling, wont stay on. Recommend a replacement please. I liked it, worked well for 3 years. 2700 sq foot home, 2 story, all items use wifi. I would like a equivelant or better , reliabilith is key. Right now this ones prices are close to 300, ouch, considering its a bit old.

    Thnx, I will look into going straight 2.4ghz, and the GL-inet gear. Does it just buffer up a good amount of data then send it, or just boost up the level of the signal it receives. Can't exactly put it in the hallway, lol
