Asus AX86U Pro - Guest Network Pro in AP Mode - no internet

I have my AX86u Pro in AP Mode. I tried to use the Guest Network pro feature and created a customized network. Clients can connect to the guest network but it couldn't obtain IP address. Is there any way to make it work or should I be in router mode for Guest Network Pro to work properly?

Firmware version: 3.0.0.6.102_34336
 
Where is the DHCP server being hosted ?
What else is on the network ? ISP router/modem in router mode or pass through ?
 
Which Guest Network Pro preset are you using? And how is it configured?
If the Guest Network Pro option Use same subnet as main network is available in the Guest Network Pro network you have created? If so is it enabled or disabled?

Unfortunately Guest Network Pro has a number of quirks and oddities. Somethings with Guest Network Pro just don't operate as expected or desired.

Using customized. In AP mode Guest network doesn’t have that much options. Only the vlan id and the band
 
HI, Can you post a detailed pic of the Guest Network config.

I am planning to use Asus EBg15 as main router with AX86U Pro in AP mode. I have 3 guest networks with their own sub-nets. Currently my AX86U Pro is my primary router and AP, so before I go ahead and wipe it, I wanted to know what I am getting into...

What device are you using as router? I plan to use Asus EBG15

NOTE: I keep forgetting that I have AX86U Pro ...

Too much a hassle to setup vlans on my router(ERX) for me so I switched to router mode to make it work.
