Hardware issue? Error log

Have been having problems with my router for about a week, where the router randomly locks up and DNS queries are not being resolved.

I thought it might have been related to a recent update to AGH. I tried uninstalling, reinstalling AGH. Went through several reset, reconfigure cycles, but the problem remained.

Today I'm seeing some errors in logs, I have no idea what they mean. Digging around the forum, some threads are mentioning it maybe related to TrendMicro. I currently don't have TrendMicor enabled. I did enable it to try it out about a week ago (incidentally, it coincided with the AGH update), but over the last week I've reset the router a few times and have not enabled TrendMicro.

In the logs I see normal activity like DHCP assigning IPs, handshakes then the router froze for about 10 minutes then I see the errors below then it goes back to DHCP assigning IPs, handshakes etc.

Is this a hardware issue? Should I reflash the original firmware and then reflash the Merlin firmware? Appreciate any help and guidance in troubleshooting this.

Did you withdraw from Trendmicro on the privacy page?

Yes, the privacy page is blank - Asus and TrendMicro have no permissions.

Curious if anyone can explain what wl3.2 refers to?

Code:
Mar 8 hostapd: wl3.2: STA xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx IEEE 802.11: disassociated
Mar 8 hostapd: wl3.2: STA xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx IEEE 802.11: disassociated
Mar 8 hostapd: wl3.2: STA xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx IEEE 802.11: associated

All of today, whenever the router has locked up, I've checked the logs immediately after and this code ALWAYS comes up whenever the router locks up.

You have a fourth WiFi band/network (possibly the 6GHz band or fourth radio in the router). Those log entries, if they have the same MAC address, are indicating a WiFi device has disconnected and reconnected.

Got it! Thanks for explaining.

I noticed that my devices connected to Guest Network weren't getting internet. I restarted the Guest Network and the router has been running happy for 12+ hours. No disconnects, no error logs!
