Will branch 3006 arrive on it?
Like others are indicating, no.Will branch 3006 arrive on it?
Yes, except for the XT12 as Asus does not support VLAN for that model. Will this firmware support the VLAN and various “Guest” networks offered in stock firmware?
Great - thanks.Yes, except for the XT12 as Asus does not support VLAN for that model.
I put it on that exact model, some piccies in that post.Been away from here for a while..

I have a GT-AC2900 and need to replace it - looking to get an AX-88u Pro.
I’m interested in the VLAN functionality - particularly separating the “main” network from the “IoT” network - but maybe allowing one-way to the IoT from main.
Are you able to configure traffic between the different networks/vlans?I put it on that exact model, some piccies in that post.
Works great for me (thank you to RMerlin}.
TBH I haven’t tried that specifically yet, but e.g. a device (my iPhone) running Alexa and connected to the Primary LAN can talk to / control devices in my IoT network, does that help you at all?Are you able to configure traffic between the different networks/vlans?

No problems with MerlinAU as it sees 3006 as higher version than 3004.I've just upgraded to the latest alpha build of 3.0.0.6 firmware and so far, everything seems to be functioning correctly. Will this cause any problems for MerlinAU when it next checks for new firmware, such as regarding the next release of 3.0.0.4 firmware as an upgrade or will it pause until the official release of 3.0.0.6 firmware before attempting any further upgrades?
I just ditched it and use it as a AP now and upgraded to a BE86U.Chances are slim to none...
