    I freaking hate tech and dish networks software engineers.... I went threw all this crap just to find out it happen ONLY when the Hopper 3 connects to either 2ghz or 5ghz soon as that connects the spikes start. I have new reason to hate there updates, one of there recent updates caused this.

    nvram set dns_probe_content= nvram commit Does not fix it issue remains if 5ghz is enabled everything on network gets those spikes, I will go threw all the device connect to 5ghz and see if it one them causing it

    Does this "reboot" the wifi like turn it off and back on like router reboot would? if i say set this to 5-6am every day ? as rebooting router tend to fix it things when said wifi device is connected to router but has no internet. which only done once week, and i perfer to just reboot wifi 2g/5g...

    Of all the wireless devices I have only the Surface3 was actual able to get 100mbit down, everything else is 20-50mbit, that is inducing iphone5/6 and current android phones devices. very doubt fulll it the router more likely its how the device it self is setup. possible even the power saving...

    So I turned off Wan Redirect Notification which was always on in prior FW do to it forcing any and all Wired clients that are on to start up there browser and go direct to router page. Not sure why all of a sudden Wan notification is starting web browsers up when router is rebooted or wan goes...

    OK I did some more testing 2g/5g respect the bandwidth limiting, but from some reason some devices that are listed to 10/5 (example) will respect it other device will not respect that despite being listed, IF I remove the device not respecting it and re enter it then it start respecting it ...

    shrugs dont know, I only in last month or 2 started using bandwidth limiter over traditional and before that I was using traditional QOS that I set it to 100down-35up it limited speeds to those settings correctly.     Yah I am think Bandwidth Limiter might be Reversing UP/DOWN which would explain why some client I set to 3D/1.5U were doing 1.5D/3U Wired Connections seem to respect it I will check Wifi for 2g and 5g Tommorow.
