    Question on LAN security?

    I'm trying to secure my LAN and i'm not finding anything in this firmware. I'm trying to prevent un-authorized devices from plugging in to my network. 1 - Mac-filtering on the LAN. 2 - Shutting off un-used ports. Anyone know how to achieve this with this firmware?

    Help with blocking incoming IPs

    I'm being pounded by a server and I need to block the IP. I created the firewall-start file and put everything in but the IP is still getting routed to my server. What's going on? iptables -I INPUT -s 37.187.195.49 -j DROP Chain INPUT (policy ACCEPT) target prot opt source...

    PPTP 10x slower then FTP?

    The VPN server is built into the router. I can get fast speeds, but anytime I connect to the VPN from a remote VPS server it's sloooow.

    PPTP 10x slower then FTP?

    I created a VPN connection on my 2008 server to my home office router and it barely uploads a file at 150kb/sec I can ftp at 5mb/sec to the same network from the same server. Any idea why this is so slow? :confused:

    PPTP and OPENVPN performance terrible

    When I connect to my ac66u with either type of VPN I can only upload at 300kb. I can ftp into the same network at 3mb. Any idea what would be causing this? The client machine is a win server 2008.
