RT-AX86U wont play nicely with XD5

Just bought a 2 pack of XD5s to add to my current mesh which is made of RT-AX86U as the main router and a RT-AX68U as a node running via ethernet backhaul. Both of the XD5s connected via the app when I hit add node and setup confirms all is a success/do the power cycle. I did the setup...
