    Media Bridge Performance

    They removed the 2.4Ghz wireless AP from the bridge mode a few firmware revisions ago. Prior to that, the bridge did offer a 2.4Ghz AP. I have now upgraded both my router and bridge to the latest firmware revision and will report back. I am running the 2nd router in bridge mode.

    Media Bridge Performance

    5 months passed and the persistent dropping issue on devices connected to the bridge still persists on my AC66 to AC66 Bridge. Perhaps the recently released firmwares (1st in 3 months) will resolve the issues. Here's hoping. Figured this might be a good time to bump the thread given the...

    RT-AC66U Media Bridge Stability

    Yes, under a strict "media bridge" utilization. However, two firmwares ago, the media bridge mode in the ac66u allowed you to broadcast over the 2.4g (you could also disable it) and set that SSID to anything you want. That ability has now been removed with the current firmware.

    AC Routeur<=>AC Bridge ?

    I am using an AC66 in bridge mode connected to another AC66. The bridge AC66 connects to a switch that is connected to an HTPC that streams live TV from an HDHomerun (a constant 1-2MB/s; I tested 3 streams at once (>6MB/s with no issues), as well as stream media, and serves 4 or 5 other devices...

    Need a good bridge

    (1) Asus EA-N66 (attached to a switch) (2) Asus AC66 has a bridge mode (3) Belkin Universal Wireless HDTV Adapter (it's really just a bridge marketed to a different segment) All of these offer both 2.4ghz & 5ghz band support. I have used 1 & 2 as a bridge that connects to an HTPC that streams...

    Rt-ac68u

    Same thing happened here on an AC66U except all wireless stopped until I re-enabled it. Odd bug to continue through to the AC68U.
