    386.7_2 DST update fw-reset

In my case, the firewall has restarted at the hour the winter time started and after that, the router has "rebooted" by its own  (same trace in the log as a reboot, and time count restarted). I have never seen that before.

    Asus AX88U wireguard problem!

"this is what the file looks like (of course the keys have been changed by me)"

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.8 is now available for specific models

After your post I have been taking a look to my AX88U router temps and they have suffered an increase of 5-6 degrees (at idle, with same CPU load) with regards to previous FW. With 386.5_2, I had usually 64 degrees celsius , and now it is always between 69-71 (similar room temp). WIFI CHIPs temp...

router.asus.com not working on Firefox anymore?

Just out of curiosity, how do you use the hostname to connect to the router?

    RT-AC68U Asuswrt-Merlin 386.7.2 can't access login since firmware update

Which IP are you using for conection to the router? I had the same problem as I used 192.168.1.1 but the default one is 192.168.50.1.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.8 is now available for specific models

Your graph seems to show also a deviation: both wifi chips show the same temp and are well above 50 degrees. It was more accurate in previous FW. By the way, I also did a hard reset after installing FW386.8.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.8 is now available for specific models

Thank you RMerlin for this quick release! I have done the update from scratch (I have been waiting too long with dirty upgrades ;)) and nothing important to report. Just to remark that I have not been able to find the FW image in the Onedrive repository, only in SourceForge. Although I know it...

    AX86U reports 386.7_2 needs upgrade to 386.7_2

The last three versions I have updated has shown the same behavior: I needed three times to have the FW installed. During the first two trials the GUI showed a message that the file was uploading (and it was, seen in the windows ethernet traffic utility) and after a long-long time the screen was...

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.8 Beta is out for specific models

It is a pity, as it is useful (at least for me) to decide when a cooling fan is needed .

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.7 Beta is now available

Hello RMerlin, Can you guess which is the practical usage limitation of this problem? (e.g. no ipv6 dns sever possible, ...)

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.5 is now available

Just out of curiosity: Will the "general" commits (not specific to the two new models) included in 386.6, be included again on 386.7 for the rest of the models or new specific ones have to be introduced again?. I am trying to understand how the timeline works in the commits world.

Asuswrt-Merlin is now 10 years old!

An incredible work, leaded by a single person along ten years now!. I would like to have your energy . Happy Birthday AsusWRT-Merlin!

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.5 is now available

I have had (for the first time) problems uploading the firmware (going from 386.5 to 386.5_2). After four trials (sometimes being frozen in "applying settings" screen, some times indicating firmware upload error), it uploaded well, and now working without problems. Thank you RMerlin for the...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.4 is now available

As I explained in a previous post, my RT-AX88U was always around 1.9 average CPU load before, and now, with 386.4 FW, it is always around 2.8, even with not a big router usage. Nevertheless, it does not seem to have any negative impact in the router functioning (even the temps are as usual), so...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.4 is now available

Yes, at least for me, it was around 1.9% in the past, until I installed FW 386.4, and now I have similar numbers to yours (I check frequently the CPU load after I had a recurrent problem with my previous router RT-AC87U, that from time to time had the CPU throttled continously at 100%).
  16. JIPG

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.4 is now available

Thank you, this is consistent with my CPU now in 386.4, but with other FWs before, the average was consistently around 1.9%, and hence my question (only a curiosity, not an actual problem)

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.4 is now available

Sorry, I mean the data from the tools page ...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.4 is now available

After 7 hours running this FW version, everything seems working OK. Just only one curiosity is that the average CPU used is now around 2.8% for all 1, 5 and 15 minutes average, when it was before around 1.9% consistently (I have checked it many times in this 7 hours period, without having any...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.4 is now available

Dirty update of my RT-AX88U from FW 386.2_6 without any glitches, everything seems working OK. Thank you Eric, and happy new year .

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.2_6 is now available

Dirty upgrade from 386.2_4 without problems. Thank you for introducing the fragattack patch so quick ... Just for reference to a question in the beta thread, I have changed the wifi in the 2.4 GHz band to channels to 1, 5, 6 and 9, with 20/40 MHz channel width without any problem. Checked that...
