    News [ 386.3_Alpha Build(s) ] Testing available build(s)

Hello RMerlin. As the new GPL is to be waited for some time and the new wireless drivers solves a security issue, do you intend to release a new intermediate FW version (not alpha) after the necessary testing, or will you follow the typical development schedule?

    ax88u strange system log

I have many of these log lines. It is in the port I use to connect an smart TV. To be honest, apart from the flood in the log, I have not seen any effect. Maybe due to the buffer, the TV has not any noticeable image lost as the connection is lost only 1 second (or less) per the time recorded in...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.2 is now available

I can confirm that I see exactly the same behavior in my RT-AX88U running FW 386.2. Anyway, the search bar still works as a search bar, so it is only a "cosmetic" issue with the text inside.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.2 is now available

After flashing the new FW 386.2, I have seen in the logs a new error never seen before: kernel: FPM Pool 1: invalid token 0x21950000 freed Is this something to be concerned about?

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.2 is now available

Dirty update from 386.1_2 has been smooth. The only "glitch" has been solved easily with the note in the changelog (Shift+refresh in browser to see device icons). By the way, I do not like these new "minimalist" icons . It is a personal view, but I am more from windows 7 icons appearance :)...

Ai Protection warning page completely blank

That is curious. With Spanish GUI (FW 386.1_2) , I have this image in Firefox , Internet Explorer 11 and Edge chromium for any blocked page: With the GUI in English, I have this page: or with yotube.com url: All attempts are recorded in Ai Protection. Maybe you have another instance that is...

Ai Protection warning page completely blank

MvW, Thank you for the trial. But I would like to know if this works also with the GUI in Spanish for FW 386.2 beta. In FW 386.1_2, there are a few languages where the warning page is blank (I checked Spanish, German, Danish), while in others it was OK (I tried English, French, Italian, Chinese...

Ai Protection warning page completely blank

Please, could someone help me confirming that in FW 386.2 beta the warning page from TendMicro (as shown in the first post) works when the GUI is in Spanish or German? (other GUI languages seems to work correctly in 386.1_2).

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.2 Beta is now available

Some of us have never used the stock firmware (well, only during a few minutes until I loaded Merlin´s one :)), and this problem seems to be solved in Merlin 386.2 beta per Merlin answer. By the way, I have to say thank you to Merlin and all posters who helped with their answers. I have...

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.2 Beta is now available

He means DST start and finish dates/hours. You can change them manually and not relay in the "automatic" ones, supposedly associated to each time zone. Are you in the last 386.2 beta?. I think that it includes a change proposed by snaunton, where a problem with some nvram variables is solved...

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.2 Beta is now available

Thank you for clarifying what setting you were referring to (manually setting DST time). I did it, but by an unknown reason, my router time started the DST schedule a couple of days ago while I have the starting date set on Last Sunday of March. I do not know if it is related to the underscore...

    NTP problem AX88U merlin 386.1_2

I am in your same situation using the same time zone (Madrid, Paris). See my post for more details (https://www.snbforums.com/threads/asuswrt-merlin-386-2-beta-is-now-available.71038/post-673531). I recommend you to change time zone to (Amsterdam GMT+1) until we change to 386.2.

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.2 Beta is now available

How can I set the time (or TZ) manually?. Correct me if I am wrong, but DST application is automatic (there is no way in the GUI to select or deselect it). Then, I can only select the TZ (to know the time displacement regarding GMT) and later manually establish the start and finish of DST. I...

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.2 Beta is now available

I did reaply TZ settings (GMT+1 Madrid, Paris) after the yesterday "unexpected" change in DST, and time is still wrong. Curiously, if I change TZ to "GMT+1 Amsterdam, Berlin" now the time is correct. Both TZ should apply same correction ... In fact, some other TZ with GMT+1 also produce the...

    That time of year again....DST

You are right. Then, the problem is that you cannot apply any change in System page after the nvram commit, e.g. disable SSH ...

    That time of year again....DST

Maybe, as in my case, as soon as I disallow SSH and press apply (it is in the same system page as time settings) time comes back to the wrong settings (hitting "apply" in system page applies ALL configurations in that page).

    That time of year again....DST

Does this commit in 386.2 beta (https://github.com/RMerl/asuswrt-merlin.ng/issues/699) solve the issue for all time zones?. Some people have reported the problem in 386.2 beta, but maybe, they only needed to "refresh" that variable (time_zone_x) after the FW upgrade changing a couple of times...

    That time of year again....DST

I am also using a (supposed) local NTP server (es.pool.ntp.org), but I have the time displacement. I which zone are you located (the router I mean)?
