I have had no problems at all with the family using it 24/7, and with RMerlin firmware it has been even better (by the way, this model has a lot of dowloads of his firmware). Anyway...

    I totally agree. In fact, my last laptop and monitor are from ASUS as I trust in their support. For example, I had two Tplink routers, and they had only two or three FW, not solving a problem I suffered although it was supposedly solved in the last FW:(.
