    Solved High nvram usage

Try running the following script. It clears out unused OpenVPN certificates stored in the NVRAM: #!/bin/sh echo "Removing unused cert/key from nvram..." for i in 1 2 3 4 5 do nvram unset vpn_crt_client$i\_ca nvram unset vpn_crt_client$i\_extra nvram unset...

[384.12_Alpha - builds] Testing all variants.

There is absolutely no need to overthink or overcomplicate the WAN: Use local caching DNS server as system resolver setting.

[Release] FreshJR Adaptive QOS (Improvements / Custom Rules / and Inner workings)

Are you web surfing and uploading your photos using the same client? If you have a 'dedicated'/ separate client for photo uploading then an option would be to create a rule using the local IP of that client and direct traffic to File Downloads. Don't suppose you've managed to track down the...

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

No issues for me on that site whilst running Diversion. Have you tested in another browser? As it could be a browser setting somewhere causing it.

Some interesting posts here in the past 24 hours. Made for a nice read with my cup of tea. Thanks @FreshJR

    [Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.11 is available

    1. Correct. 2. No, these don't affect download speeds. 3. You're missing out on DNS encryption. These have all been asked before ad nauseam.

    Xbox Local Cache Full

Have you cleared the 'blu-ray disc and persistent storage' then done a hard reset (power cycle)? This is because for an amount of time you had the necercery domains required to unlock achievements blocked. As a result of this when it came to achievement unlocking your Xbox was basically...

Newbie questions on Diversion, DoT, DNScrpyt and RAM usage

    1. This level of RAM usage is is perfectly normal in a Linix environment and nothing to worry about. https://www.linuxatemyram.com/ My RAM usage is regularly at 90% without any issues, as a sizeable percentage of this "used" RAM is actually only cached. Creating a swap file with a spare USB...

I believe FreshJR recommends leaving all clients at 'Default' for adaptive QoS, anyway.

    Trend Micro hacked by Fxmsp?

Is there a way to test if TrendMicro is actually fully disabled (i.e not calling home) once it's been turned off in the WebUI?

Best config options for 384.11_2 for dns using vpn

This depends on who you trust most to handle/ see your dns lookups. Your ISP? Your VPN provider? Cloudflare? Google?... The settings will change slightly depending on whether you would like to use your VPN's dns server or something different.

Best config options for 384.11_2 for dns using vpn

Simply put: It won't. Asus Merlin uses stubby as standard. This was added in 384.11.

    Adding NvRam settings.

    I stand corrected.

    Adding NvRam settings.

At $100 per year for a licence, XShell6 may not be the best value for money for most users.

    [Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.11 is available

This is unrelated to the firmware. It would make more sense asking this in the ntpmerlin thread. The page you're seeing is just a placeholder that Jack Yaz uses for his script's WebUI. I am not sure why you're seeing it though.
