Release ASUS TUF-AX5400 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388_24121

I was wondering because I'm not seeing WAN disconnects in my log. I have a Spectrum (the ISP) modem.

Release ASUS TUF-AX5400 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388_24121

A bit of a stretch, but since you are getting the WAN disconnects, have you tried a different modem (or equivalent)? If it's ISP owned, you could ask for a replacement that it's ideally from a different brand and or model.

    Zen ET9 random disconnects help

If you look at the log, anything about WAN disconnect and reconnect?

Release ASUS TUF-AX5400 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388_24121

As far as I know, still supported. But it has reached the stage where the cadence for updates is slower (like most routers out there). Mine has been rock solid for the last year. If I was to buy a new one, I'd go with the RT-AX86U Pro or GT-AX6000.

Release ASUS TUF-AX5400 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388_24121

No scheduled reboots. Have you added a new device to your ecosystem? Maybe something new is not getting along with the router?

Release ASUS TUF-AX5400 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388_24121

Bummer. I have around 50 devices without technical hiccups. >90% of my problems are ISP related :)

Release ASUS TUF-AX5400 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388_24121

Mine has been rock solid for many months (latest firmware). I wonder if your unit is failing....

Release ASUS TUF-AX5400 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388_24121

Like Igs said, most likely, nothing. That log item is fairly common. I think you get that if you disable auto-update or the update server is down/unreachable.

GT-AX6000 and Xbox series S issue

Pick a different 5 GHz channel and lock it? Could be interference. Do you have a soundbar with wireless subwoofer or rear speakers nearby? These usually use 5GHz channels.

Asus TUF Gaming AX6000 client speeds slower than in router test speed.

Got it. This device is relatively new, so it could be a firmware issue. Could also be a defective unit, but I kinda doubt it. Could you still exchange for slightly bigger and more mature ROG version? https://rog.asus.com/us/networking/rog-rapture-gt-ax6000-model/

Asus TUF Gaming AX6000 client speeds slower than in router test speed.

Any packet loss? Tried a different cable? Have you tested with a different device (e.g. other laptop, game console, etc.)? Is it the same with all four ethernet ports?

Release ASUS TUF-AX5400 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388_24121

Don't know - I assume it was creating problems (e.g. not going to sleep and/or not waking up).

Release ASUS TUF-AX5400 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388_24121

I believe for 388 firmwares, Asus now displays the actual cached memory. Up-time of months with 388-based firmware without crashes or any issues.
  14. Dr Mono

Release ASUS TUF-AX5400 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388_24121

Clean update. Nothing to report - everything seems fine.

RT-AX86U - 2.4 Ghz Network is NOT working anymore (was working before)

This. I just recall some folks having 2.4 problems with usb drives and poorly shielded usb cables.

RT-AX86U - 2.4 Ghz Network is NOT working anymore (was working before)

This. 2.4 radio can be sensitive to USB ports interference.

Asus RT-AX56U keeps disconnecting my smart devices

My bad, I should've specified. I meant Ipv6 enabled in the router.

Asus RT-AX56U keeps disconnecting my smart devices

The Echo issue, do you have IPv6 enabled? I was having the same problem a while back, and disabling IPv6 got rid of the issue. Not sure why, but can't argue with results :)

ASUS TUF-AX5400 Firmware Version 3.0.0.4.388_23285 With Roborock S7 MaxV

    1) Go here TUF Gaming AX5400|WiFi Routers|ASUS Global 2) Download version 3.0.0.4.388.22525 (I think it's a zip file you need to decompress before using) 3) Follow these instructions Downgrading Firmware | SNBForums 4) After completing the process, I recommend a hard factory reset...
