    Long range LAN extension

If you have power on both ends, run a fiber and convert to ethernet? Wifi of the endpoint. With 500 meters over CAT you need at least 3 switches.

    Double NAT? Confused!

I seriously doubt this is happening with CG-NAT and even if you see a WAN address being passed its a fake one as thats what cg-nat is all about. Cg-Nat deployment is not instant, you may see a delay and at this delay time you may see 'real' wan addresses.

    Double NAT? Confused!

Firewall (both) 4g/Asus on Static route not needed (4g/DMZ takes care of that with fixed lan ip set on 4g for asus) Both devices on different subnets

    Double NAT? Confused!

Just use DMZ on the 4g router, forget about 4g/bridge mode. With 150mbps(225 theoretical max) double nat is not going to affect your speed.

Are all the known WPA3 security flaws fixed now?

Make the connection forget and reconnect works in most cases, turning wifi off/on also (on the devices).

Are all the known WPA3 security flaws fixed now?

PMF/wpa2 will do nicely without the other specific patches, even the most advanced will have a hard time getting around that. For those with PMF issues get an ASUS USB-AC53 Nano.

Rebuild cru list (can't delete a cron job)

In normal cases yes but when the file is corrupt and/or crond is holding on to it for some reason even a rm -f won't be in effect until either the process dies or the OS reboots.

Rebuild cru list (can't delete a cron job)

    Or delete it and reboot.

    Disconnect RSSI below value weirdness

That should not matter as this specific setting is an AP setting and AP actor, the AP never knows or cares what a client is doing. Its not like 'hey AP my rssi is too low, can you kick me so I can roam?' In this case its 'Hey you client out there, you've reached -57 and my threshold is -55 so...

    Disconnect RSSI below value weirdness

Its an AP function to kick a client, the AP measures lower values then the threshold, hence the AP should kick the client (as happens on 5g) to allow the client to roam. The design simply does not work on 2.4g (and leaves it up to the client to act) which explains what I've seen on another site...

    Disconnect RSSI below value weirdness

Makes sense but there's no logic in it. A threshold should not be related to the object type it relates to.

    Disconnect RSSI below value weirdness

On 2.4g there is this setting, However I have clients often going to -60dBm or less (>-60), but these are never disconnected. On 5g the default is -70 and I have one client who gets kicked sometimes, now I've set this to -75 and no more disconnects. Can anyone explain why on 2.4g there are no...

Double NAT can be used for DDNS! Why not by a Router?

With CG-NAT it is NEVER going to work (remote WAN access).
  15. I

Double NAT can be used for DDNS! Why not by a Router?

With CG-NAT you can't get anything working directly as the real WAN address is shared among ISP customers, hence port forwarding won't work. In such cases ipv6 would work if ISP's have that service or deploy some service in the middle where both endpoints can connect to, ea. reserve ssh. For...
