    Use the asus firewall to block a subnet portion and set such devices in this subnet. Easy peasy.

    Solarwinds has shown all of us that any supply chain can be compromised, being wary is good, a zero trust approach would be better, which to say the least is a challenge with asus closed source components.

    Yes because the path to the vlan is one way (unless you open a WAN to LAN port on the second router, ea. for a printer)
