AX86U - Unrecognized system log entries

That makes sense, thank you. The reason I keep referring to WDS is because of the bolded entries from the log below. Aug 18 00:53:13 kernel: wfd_registerdevice Successfully registered dev wds1.0.1 ifidx 1 wfd_idx 1 Aug 18 00:53:13 kernel: Register interface [wds1.0.1] MAC: {MAC FOR AX86U...

AX86U - Unrecognized system log entries

Ok, good to know, thanks. The WDS tab settings in the AC86U (Media Bridge) are identical to the same tab in my AX86U (AP). (i.e. they both say AP Mode = AP Only). Maybe media bridge operation mode overrides "AP Only" in the background on the AC86U.

AX86U - Unrecognized system log entries

Can someone please explain what these system log entries mean? They occur often and seem wrong given I don't use WDS -- or I don't think I do. I also have all port forwarding disabled, although my guess is "entered forwarding state" refers to something else here. I have my old AC86U working...

    RT-AX86U - 2.4Ghz Utilization in Wireless log

So this router simply doesn't calculate utilization for 2.4GHz in same way it does for 5Ghz?

    RT-AX86U - 2.4Ghz Utilization in Wireless log

Ok, got it. So that number is real then. Is there a reason why it's not displayed in the Wireless Log GUI?

    RT-AX86U - 2.4Ghz Utilization in Wireless log

Hi all. Is there a way to show channel utilization % for 2.4Ghz band? In System Log --> Wireless Log -- my AX86U currently shows utilization % for 5Ghz, but not 2.4Ghz. Low level details show QBSS channel utilization stuck at 100% (!!) for 2.4Ghz. Not currently experiencing any issues with...

Help Please..Need assistance stopping outbound connections!

Hi all, Since my last post I've continued to run an OpenVPN server on my AC86U along with the excellent script offered in this thread to ensure my IP cameras aren't dialing home. Everything was working swimmingly until last week when out of nowhere I'm no longer able to access the camera feeds...

Help Please..Need assistance stopping outbound connections!

On NSFW: I checked again last night and wasn't able to find an option for PING. Confirmed that if I block camera IP with NSFW, VPN access is still allowed. I don't have a NVR and I'm not doing SMTP emails so I can't confirm your last point. (Edit: The bottom line is that your script seems more...

Help Please..Need assistance stopping outbound connections!

Thanks for your reply. Selecting "block internet access" in client list will also block VPN from accessing the camera (this was the first thing I tried). Thus the need for the script to selectively allow for VPN. I very much wish it was this simple!!

Help Please..Need assistance stopping outbound connections!

Hi all. Created an account to post on this thread. I've been using the excellent script Martineau created to block internet access on my ip cams. Router is rt-ac86u running latest Merlin firmware. Thanks to Martineau and everyone else's contribution here. I was wondering if the experts here...
