    Wireless router choice

    Had a bad experience with an older Netgear model and have avoided em since. Maybe it's time to give them a 2nd chance.

    advice buying a good router and modem

    The Motorola/ARRIS SB6141 is probably the most recommended modem at the moment and is capable of speeds of 343 mbps so it should meet your needs comfortably. For routers, the Archer C7/C9 or the ASUS RT66/68 are pretty good
