[ROG RAPTURE GT-AX11000] Experiences & Discussion

I ended up having to revert back to the stock firmware. Not only did I lose IPV6 connectivity as stated above by other people, my log started to show all these random errors that were not there before. On top of that, my 5G-2 kept disappearing or wasn't always connectable. Have to wait for...

[ROG RAPTURE GT-AX11000] Experiences & Discussion

I have tried this yet I can not get a IPV6 gateway to stick. I have tried using the restart_dnsmasq and also tried old fashion reboot; the WAN IPV6 gateway stays unlisted. I only had a few minutes to mess with it. I assume I am just missing something in the process. Will try again tonight.

[ROG RAPTURE GT-AX11000] Experiences & Discussion

All the issues you guys are having were reported issues with the beta firmware 9.0.0.4_384_5781 Good to see Asus took those concerns and worked on those known problems /sarcasm C'mon Asus, pull your heads out your @$$ and release a decent updated firmware

[ROG RAPTURE GT-AX11000] Experiences & Discussion

Hello fellow owners, Just came here to toss in my experiences with the ax11000. To summarize, it has not been good. I have experienced everything from sudden loss of all wifi networks require a reboot to bring them back (multiple times in the past 2 months of ownership) to the 2.5GB lan port...

Port Forwarding for Security Automation Module

It seems like this is probably the case. I was hoping a ddns would fix that, but still a no go. The module I am using is the Honeywell VAM (Vista Automation Module) BTW, thanks for the awesome firmware, I updated to it and it seems to have helped with some stability issues.

Port Forwarding for Security Automation Module

So just a quick update, I don't think the security module I have will work with the AC87. Maybe its because it says it needs to be accessed by https, I'm not really sure (still learning here). I have tried everything I could think of or find on the net between having the right port open to...

ASUS RT-AC87 Firmware - Official Releases

Like to say I have the same issues with my ac87. On my wife's S5 or my note 3, the 5ghz band also seems to stop responding periodically and it can only be fixed by disconnecting and reconnecting. The 2.4 band is more stable, but it would be nice to use the 5ghz and be reliable. I tried the...

Port Forwarding for Security Automation Module

Nice find, I did not see that when clicking around that tabs. After switching the aicould port range, now something different happens. When I try to access the wan IP address or the ddns, the browser on my phone tries to download something now. It never does download anything, just keeps...

Port Forwarding for Security Automation Module

Thank you for the link. I read it before, maybe more of a glance, so I followed it to a T this time. Still no joy unfortunately. I posted my issue in a security forum that talks about the product I bought. Seems other people have the same issue / question on how to get the module...

Port Forwarding for Security Automation Module

So I'm a newb and I'm stuck I have the Asus AC87 with firmware 3.0.0.4.376_2769. I have an home alarm module that is connected wirelessly to my router. On my network at home I have no problem connecting to it, butt connecting to it from the outside world is the problem. The automation...
