    They ever going to support Iphones tethered to these routers? When hurricane Sandy came through we lost all communication except cell service. Would have been handy to connect my phone to it and have wireless for everyone.

    Some of the info I found said they both used the BCM4360. Its confusing that both routers have the same firmware version now.

    Does both the ac66u and ac68u use same Broadcom wireless chipset? Both products have same firmware version and I know the ac66u is running great on this version. Im sure there is little differences between the 2 but just curious.

    That's why the next ASUS router doesn't use the Broadcom chipset most using that chip have had problems. Its their driver.

    As of 2 weeks ago they were not able to duplicate the issue. People here and on ASUS website have been hollering for a month about reboots. People on here have been able to reproduce the problem and narrowed it down. So its a good point for people chatting here IMHO.

    I mentioned this in post 497 There is nothing mentioned on the site about reverting back firmware to fix people take the latest load it on. It reboots which means broken to them and they return. Bad way to do business.

    If you had to reenter all your settings again and set it up from scratch you have done a factory reset. Not sure about the NVRAM reset.

    I asked the same question was told no there wasn't enough of a change to warrant a reset. I didn't factory reset and I have reboots. Im sure the ASUS people factory reset (and why they cant recreate) when they load a FW and why I began to think that may fix the issue. Im waiting for the...

    Could be why some are having reboot issues and some are not. I will admit I hadn't redone the factory reset since the last time it was mentioned on here to do it.

    It may be encrypted BUT ASUS could make something that can read the file since their routers can read the file. Just like an easier way to make sure I set everything back up correct. I do the same with screenshots but i'm starting to collect multi pages of shots. With something that could...

    Is there a way to read the .cfg file into something useable? Make it so much easier to set your router back up after a factory reset. Something simple like forgetting to set your channel from the default can cause you headaches. Easy enough to do with the 4000 settings in these routers. :)

    Have upnp and DLNA server disabled and still it reboots about 1-2 times a day. It would be awesome to have the person from ASUS provide us with BETA's again.

    Could also be why people been pointing finger at apple devices. I have had it reboot streaming a video at the edge of my wireless signal on my iphone 5. Its a n wireless device and I have a bunch of them.

    It slowed my reboots down did not stop them completly.

    At 80mw I would have thought that pretty low power to burn out radio. How low can you set the radio power 200mw is max can you set it to 0?
