    I tried the recovery tool on a 68u and it worked without an issue rolling back from the restricted. Should work for all the routers you just cant do it through the routers web client.

    I would download and keep the older version of their restore. The restore is supposed to unbrick a messed up router so it doesn't look at what is loaded on the router it just pushes any firmware you have to it. Where they could block you is if they modify the restore software to not accept...

    What I can also tell you is that my UML290 usb aircard still DOESNT WORK in the latest fw. I had to go back to a firmware that came out over 5 MONTHS AGO because the past 3 versions BREAK the rollover. Its been reported for months now and still not fixed.

    It is the non-reversible one. Well unless you put router into restore firmware mode and you can reverse it all day long. :) I tested with the current restore software and restored back to 378.9459 fw but that may change in the future.

    I wonder if the 88 software works with a UML290 Aircard? I know the latest beta for the 66u 2695 and 9533 do not. Once back on 9459 it works again. Factory resets and will only work for fw 9459. It kind of stinks as I reported the issue awhile ago on 9533 and the beta.

    I haven't super tested it but I did notice the only way the weather app on my iphone would work is if I went cellular. I have only been on it a day.
