    I'm trying to overclock RT-AC68 on Asuswrt xx.38-1 without luck. I can not get the overclocking setting to be permanent. Settings are lost after router reboots. nvram set clkfreq=1200,866 nvram commit reboot What am I missing?:confused: Thanks in advance for your help.

    Broken Samba Share Samba share is still broken with this update even with disabling the router's firewall. I can't get access to media files on HD that is connected to the AC68U router. :mad:

    Your device need to support 5GHz wifi band in order for the device to detect your ssid name and connect to it. Do you know for sure that at least one device support 5GHz band?

    What Settings for optimal wifi performance? Can you share the settings that you used to get such performance? Channel bandwidth? wireless mode N/Auto/legacy? beam forming enabled/disabled? USB interference enabled/disabled? HW acceleration enabled/disabled? TX power? Beacon interval? ...etc.

    This same behavior I'm experiencing on 5ghz network (frequent drop offs and never connecting back). 2.4ghz is much better in trems of drop offs. Is there a possible fix for this? Sent from my SGH-I317M using Tapatalk 4

    Got it working. I reformatted the HD as mac journal and now time machine can write to the drive. This time machine capability is indeed a nice addition to this router. Thanks RMerlin and vdemarco

    The error is: The backup disk image “/Volumes/Backups.backupdb/XXXX’s Mac Pro.sparsebundle” could not be created (error (null)). Same error happened when connected to the other USB port.

    Could not get the Time Machine to work. Mavericks' Time Machine can connect to drive but produces error when starting to write data. WD elements 1Tb connected to USB3 port. Sent from my SGH-I317M using Tapatalk 4
