    I tried from my cell phone while on the cell network and the same thing happened. My IP never changed. I also tried hard coding 8.8.8.8 in my WiFi's DNS page. That didn't change anything either.

    I use both IPSec and OpenVPN servers. Both work very well and I've never seen performance issues. I've never had 2 or 3 clients attached at one time.

    Good point about not using something I don't need. I checked the manual for rt-ax58u and the screen shot does show 'Media Bridge' as on one of the route modes. The ac56u looks like it is discontinued and costs about the same last the newer ax58u.
