Unbound unbound_manager (Manager/Installer utility for unbound - Recursive DNS Server)

Noted. Apologies I can’t assist fully with the diagnosis. Am wondering if I’m the only one with this issue. In any event, I’ll try reinstalling regardless as that sorted out the issue the last time I faced this and see how that goes. Thanks again! :)

Heh, no worries. Easy enough to reinstall unbound manager, just thought I'd point this out. Thanks again!

Unbound unbound_manager (Manager/Installer utility for unbound - Recursive DNS Server)

Yup, that's exactly what I saw, apologies for missing that. Tried again. Also tried a restart immediately after those instructions; Apologies if I'm not following your instructions exactly, am trying my best. Your help is sincerely appreciated! :)

Not what I got? Weird? Conf file shows verbosity at 1 too. Anyways, tried repeating the instructions without RS restart.

Unbound unbound_manager (Manager/Installer utility for unbound - Recursive DNS Server)

Thank you for the assistance. :) Just tried all the steps, final command results in; #verbosity: 1 # v1.02 '1' is adequate to prove unbound is processing domains

Unbound unbound_manager (Manager/Installer utility for unbound - Recursive DNS Server)

A logging gremlin reappeared after the latest update; logging has always been turned off but a restart of the router or unbound itself causes logging to start up again. Attached screenshot; logging is turned off. I restart unbound with "rs nocache" and logging reenables. The last time this...

OT - surviving pandemic from personal experience (no trolling, PLEASE)

I think that folks will get more caring and more effort would be put into changing how things work. For awhile at least. Before long, it’ll go back to “business as usual”. Sorry for being such a downer.

OT - surviving pandemic from personal experience (no trolling, PLEASE)

When SARS hit, things got really bad, really fast. It was a terrifying time and I remember thinking how as scary as it was, at the very least we would learn some lessons and be better prepared the next time another epidemic hit. Which, as history shows, was bound to happen. Guess not everyone...

Worth putting a menu item for sgui or would that be for “advanced”? My $0.02.

Must’ve missed or forgotten about it. Thank you for the explanation.

Unbound unbound_manager (Manager/Installer utility for unbound - Recursive DNS Server)

Apparently not? A reboot or 'rs' reverts to logging enabled. Edit; Update to 2.17 seems to have sorted this issue out thou I did have a strange error during the update that I've posted in the next...post.

Unbound unbound_manager (Manager/Installer utility for unbound - Recursive DNS Server)

I’ve tried that a couple of times and it still turns back on. Hmmm. Guess it’s just me then. Can’t investigate much more at the moment lest the wife kills me for messing around with “a working internet” while she’s home. Will troubleshoot later and see if I can narrow this down. Thank you.

Unbound unbound_manager (Manager/Installer utility for unbound - Recursive DNS Server)

Indeed. That would be a great addition and I’ll admit, I’ve been spoilt by amtm; it generally makes things absurdly simple.

Unbound unbound_manager (Manager/Installer utility for unbound - Recursive DNS Server)

2 dumb questions; 1) I've disabled logging but that setting does not survive a reboot. Is this expected behavior and is there a way to keep the selected setting persistent? 2) After enabling @juched webUI, the "sgui" option does not appear in UM (Unbound Manager). Again, expected behavior? If...
