Diversion Diversion *not* working after installation due to erroneously inserted/added lines of code.

This is why I assumed noble intent in the post, and perhaps all will be forgiven, what with it being so close to Festivus and the associated ceremonial Airing of Grievances. Reporting of Bugs ought, of course, to be welcomed. The manner in which one does this will impact the reception of the...

pixelserv Downloaded certificate and broke internet

Okay, so try these at the command prompt: ping www.google.com ping 8.8.8.8 If the 8s work and not google.com, then your problem is with DNS. Try logging into the router via SSH. (Username / PW will be the same as for the GUI) At the prompt, type amtm Do you have a thumbdrive or SSD already...

pixelserv Downloaded certificate and broke internet

OK so you can access the router GUI via browser. On the main screen, at the top, what does it say for your "Internet Status?" If you're "disconnected" or "offline," try power-cycling the modem, followed by the router about 60 seconds later. Also - in the GUI, go Administration -> System ->...

Diversion Diversion *not* working after installation due to erroneously inserted/added lines of code.

So... with the caveat that "I'm not a coder," and with zero intention of casting aspersions, I think the OP's approach here is well-intentioned and poorly-phrased. OP would have been better-served by contacting thelonleycoder directly with his specific concerns and specific recommendations for...

pixelserv Downloaded certificate and broke internet

Well... hm. Sorry about that! Internet is down for all machines on your network? What VPN are you talking about? Client or server? Can you ping the router? Can you ping google? Are you able to SSH into the router?

Are there any addons for adaptive QoS that don't require sending data to Trend Micro?

FWIW, I'm happy to let TrendMicro use me as a sensor. I let them see what's bouncing off the router in my location and they update signatures for identifying bad actors. Plus, Skynet's "ban AIProtect" feature perma-bans any IP that AIProtect hits on. For added comfort. :)

ntpMerlin NTP Server in Admin>System with chronyd?

I've used ntpMerlin on the router... but only chronyd on my Linux machines. Are you asking what timeserver(s) to use with chronyd if you're running ntpMerlin?

Skynet "Elvis has left the building ... "

Glad I saw this thread; did not know the back-story. It makes me sad, I have always had excellent interactions with Adamm, and I never feel comfortable without Skynet between me and the Intarwebs. :/ Hopefully it'll all work out. Very happy to note both of my routers already had 7.2.3 today! :D

Skynet Skynet cannot detect Public IP address

Skynet supplements the factory firewall. I believe if you disable the Firewall in GUI, you are also disabling Skynet. Happy to be corrected by someone smarter than me. I've pretty much reached the limit of my understanding/advice for your situation. If you're not interested in changing around...

Skynet Skynet not blocking any inbound IPs, but blocking some outbound only

Well, your problem is all inbound traffic appears to be coming from your modem and therefore Skynet can't block anything, or it would block everything. I'm not familiar with NBN; there's no way to access a GUI on the modem to enable Bridge Mode? Can you call you tech support? (Assuming the...

Skynet Skynet cannot detect Public IP address

Man all I can think of is try to figure out if the MikroTik has some kind of dual-bridge mode. But, you say everything works as you desire if you turn off Skynet? If that's the case, then make sure the MikroTik is whitelisted in Skynet and watch the Skynet logs to see what it's doing while...

Skynet Skynet cannot detect Public IP address

Okay... but what I don't understand is what you're GAINING with the MikroTik... you're not balancing any load if you have Dual-WAN going into MicroTik and then *everything* still going through Asus... unless I'm missing something obvious here. How does the MikroTik firewall compare to Skynet...

Skynet Skynet cannot detect Public IP address

So... to clarify. As agilani says... you're double-NATing? I don't understand why you have the MikroTik in that equation... you say for load-balancing, but then everything is going to the Asus? Or do you have other devices NOT connected to the Asus? As to the port forwarding, in the MikroTik...

Skynet Skynet cannot detect Public IP address

It might be helpful if you diagrammed out how you have things set up. What are you expecting the MikroTik to do inside the LAN?

amtm Script to randomize MAC address daily

What's the purpose of this, out of curiosity? Most people pay extra for a static IP or use DDNS. lol

Skynet Skynet security issue: Causing denial of service

Morris, if there's an erroneous entry in the blocklists, it's usually rectified fairly quickly. Happens occasionally, I just deal with it knowing it's temporary. Alternatively, you can add that IP to your whitelist and go about your business.

    Skynet skynet amazon sidewalk blocking

I think we'd need to get a device that supports it, and then (like with anything else IoT) Wireshark the traffic while it's in use to see if it's distinguishable from other Amazon traffic.

Unbound unbound_manager (Manager/Installer utility for unbound - Recursive DNS Server) - General questions / discussion thread 2

Aaah - so Unbound has the Rebind protection, hence disabling it for DNSMasq in the GUI. Okay, that makes sense. :)
