Yet another malware block script using ipset (v4 and v6)

Script 2.4 was running fine for quite a while. Now all of a sudden I am getting this: ./ya-malware-block.sh: Loaded sets YAMalwareBlock1IP (73) and YAMalwareBlockCIDR (1) in 2 seconds. Can you please advise? I am on 380.68.0 for about a week now. This is also showing up in syslog.

    No usb with 380.68_2

That is very true! I never thought of it that way. Thanks again! Hey, Jack! I have a question. Which format do you recommend(i.e. EXT 2, EXT 4)?

    No usb with 380.68_2

Thanks, Jack! I will try to implement that if I can. I have WinSCP set up and use it occasionally. Just easier(Lazyness) for us dedicated Windows users to use NTFS I guess.

I apologize! Yes that was a typo! Should have been "Sour-Power". I didn't catch what you meant. I misspelled the word completely.

    [Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.68 is available

It's just a term that an electrician of mine uses. He says electricity gets sour after a while staying on the line and it is better to refresh it once in a while by breaking the connection. He has been doing industrial installations for 20 yrs. So I tend not to disagree with him.

    [Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.68 is available

I've seen cases where on laptops or Ethernet cards that unless you unplug them and remove battery. It will not clear what electricians call "Sower-power". I have had this condition more than once. Usually takes about 15 secs to clear it.

[Release] FreshJR Adaptive QOS (Improvements / Custom Rules / and Inner workings)

Thank you for those clarifications! I will enable your script as soon as I read the forum posts and understand how to set it up correctly. I don't want to make mistakes others have already gone through.

[Release] FreshJR Adaptive QOS (Improvements / Custom Rules / and Inner workings)

I have a question about the 1_9 ver. of this script. I am currently using 380.66_4. Can the 1_9 script be used with this version of firmware or do I need to wait till I upgrade the firmware? I d/led the 1_9 script, but I set it to not run at present. I'm planning on upgrading to 380.68, but I...

Thank you for the input. It helps to understand TA and CTF a little more.

    Traffic Analyzer

Thanks for that! Maybe that is it. Is there a way to turn FA on and off to check this?

    Traffic Analyzer

Thanks much for the reply! I wonder why speed test seemed to increase after enabling TA. Must have been a fluke. I even have it capped at 65mb's in "Bandwidth-Limited", so I'm at a loss here.

I thought I read somewhere that TA turns off nat acceleration. I had it disabled but when I enabled it my speed test went way up from 49mhz to 70mhz. Can someone tell me if it's true about TA turning off nat acceleration?

Yet another malware block script using ipset (v4 and v6)

Thanks for the reply! I just wanted to be sure it was ok. I did delete a few and re-run just to be sure but it was still ok. So I'm glad it is working as it should. It is set to run every 8 hrs. Maybe over-kill, but I don't want any malware as I have children using network and my daughter...
