Asus RT A68U DNS and connection issues

Got this router yesterday flashed newest asus firmware, reset then newest merlin. connected SH2 in modem mode then router. searched the new until my eyes hurt lol, cannot figure this out router works fine for 5 mins then drops connection, it could work for 2 hours then it drops, also having...
