Interesting. I'm Still on asus current firmware. What's strange is I think their speed test uses their internal traffic analyzer, which decreases soeeds exponentially. When I run speed tests through my router to my desktop NIC I get faster speeds than from my the Internal router speed test on...

I also got this message from Asus support - apparently the 10G port doesn't actually support 10g??? wtf? See below. " Thank you for contacting ASUS Product Support. My name is Carl Raniel S.. First and foremost, thank you for your patience while we completed our review and research of this...

OK so update - with gtaxe16000 speeds. I enabled DUAL WAN and turned off all traffic analyzing options as well, including BW stats, website traffic etc, and I get close to max speeds (5gbit)download. Upload still losing a 1.5gbit (max im getting is 3.5gbit) When I turn the traffic analyzers back...

I am having this exact same problem. Cannot get above 2.6-7gbps despite using the 10g1 port. I also thought it was strange no jumbo frames on LAN SWITCH tab - maybe it reappears if you use the 2.5gbps or 1gbps ports as WAN? Either way - as usual, ASUS support had no idea, wanted me to fill a...

GT-AX11000 - Hardwired upload speeds to desktop lags, download speed maxes and wifi6 upload and download max - any ideas?

OK. I will take a look. Thank you. There must be some way to test the line up and down speed? would iperf3 work or any other diagnostic software. I've basically figured out the point in the network where the slow occurs, just need to figure out how to fix it.

GT-AX11000 - Hardwired upload speeds to desktop lags, download speed maxes and wifi6 upload and download max - any ideas?

OK - Asus tech support is useless. Any ideas or settings that could affect this that you know of?

GT-AX11000 - Hardwired upload speeds to desktop lags, download speed maxes and wifi6 upload and download max - any ideas?

Yes. Firmware doesn't seem to be the issue because each firmware update has the same problem. Maybe it is a setting in windows or NIC since speed comes through fine via speed test on the router gui. The issue must be between desktop NIC and 2.5gb port of router, just not sure how to diagnose it...

GT-AX11000 - Hardwired upload speeds to desktop lags, download speed maxes and wifi6 upload and download max - any ideas?

Good question - I'm not, I use the speedtest.net app for windows 10 desktop. I have also used chrome on speedtest.net and fast.com - upload all the same and confirmed by monitoring traffic flow on glasswire.

GT-AX11000 - Hardwired upload speeds to desktop lags, download speed maxes and wifi6 upload and download max - any ideas?

I have a GTAX11000. I run Dual WAN, load balanced 1:1. I have two modems, Comcast and ATT fiber, both 1 gig down, Comcast 40mbps up, ATT 1 gig up. One that goes into WAN port and one that goes into LAN1. Both are on pass through/bridge. GTAX GUI speed test shows full speeds on upload and...

    New GT-AX11000 firmware 3.0.0.4.384_9165

Same thing is happening to me. everything works, but cant get on router GUI. ASUS support is utterly horrible as well, not even worth opening a case. What did you find worked?

Traffic Analyzer in Dual WAN Load Balancing Mode

I have the GT-AX11000 in load balancing mode. 1:1, with a gigabit connection from comcast and a gigabit from ATT. The traffic analyzer doesn't even work at all and get no stats when its enabled i.e. nothing in the Statistic Bandwidth Monitor (this works actually), Traffic Monitor or Web History...

Thanks @daviworld I'll give those a shot today. Which Cat 7 cables did you use? Maybe I will grab a couple and see if that helps the throughput.

    RT-AC5300 Performance & Security Guide

Thanks @daviworld! My networking skills are decent, but looking for specifics to change in the professional tab / any actual settings. I have UnPn enabled at the moment as well as an Aimesh RT-68u. I hardwired it so 5ghz is apparently a backhaul. I am not worried about security yet as I want to...

    RT-AC5300 Performance & Security Guide

Thanks for the reply Daviworld! So here is some more information: I have a 1 Gbit line. It was wired directly into my house. I am the only one that uses it. I have other things on the network, I.E. security system, Xbox, google minis, some other devices. However, when I directly connect from...

Hello all, I've been searching all over for weeks on optimal settings for the RT-AC5300. Here is the issue. I've got it hardwired through my modem SB8200 to my desktop. When I go directly from the modem to my desktop I am maxing out my connection. When I put it through the router no matter what...
