    Recently i was considering going to a more complex and DIY solution. I'll build a proxmox solution which uses OPNSense as main router, and also OpenMPTCP for some good stuff like proper bonding connections, failsafe connections, etc..

    However, if you didn't already solve your problem as i've seen that this thread Is from 2022, i could give you those tips: - Disable every resource-intensive process such as AiProtection, packet logging, VPN stuff, USB Applications, packet filtering option in firewall section, QoS, Game...

    I have the same problem. I was only able to sort of solve It "a bit" by disabling some services and apps in the Asus router. I did a bit of experimenting with speedtests and various wifi devices (such as IoT devices + 4 smartphones) connected, and i've found that even without doing speedtests...
