    Just bought the RT-AC1900P at Best Buy. It came with 3.0.0.4.380.1842, so I flashed 3.0.0.4.380.3264 and then RT-AC68U_380.60_beta2. I'm still at work, so it's not currently operating as a router or anything, but the flashes went through just fine. I'll hopefully be able to finish configuring it...

    RT-AC 1900P at Best buy

    Argh, I'm very much on the fence now. I am tempted to go buy this router today to replace my N66U, but knowing that BCM4908 routers are on the horizon gives me pause. Is there any indication of the price of those routers based on that chip? Will it come in at the $350+ range? Or in the $200-$300...

    Would the AC68U version of this work on the RT-AC1900 router shown here: http://www.snbforums.com/threads/rt-ac-1900p-at-best-buy.33156 The AC68U is also an AC1900 router, so I wasn't sure whether they are technically close enough for this to work.

    So are there any plans for this model to start getting new Merlin (Beta) builds? I have a N66U and I'm leaning toward grabbing this to hold me over until the BCM4908 routers are available and at a reasonable price(certainly under $300). The 600MHZ single core in mine just doesn't handle OpenVPN...
