    Does anyone use the combination of L2TP WAN connection with OpenVPN client? Even when the "Redirect Internet traffic" option is set to "No" I am unable to ping any external address except local ISP network.

    @ColinTaylor Hm, according to ipleak.net (or www.dnsleaktest.com) after setting this option the same Cloudflare's DNS is still used. But I would expect the DNS of VPN provider.

    It seems that there is an inconsistency in the OpenVPN's client routing when the router is used as DNS. My ISP is using the DNS-spoofing to prevent accessing some IPs (political censorship, etc.). So I am using the router's OpenVPN client with rules for routing client traffic through the tunnel...
