    Clear NVRAM + WPS clarification

Thanks for the reply. I'm 100% sure that, on my RT-AC3200, it took only thirty seconds. Maybe in this AC86U, it takes more seconds? But it seems really strange to me.

    Clear NVRAM + WPS clarification

Is there anyone who can tell me if it's normal or not? :)

    Clear NVRAM + WPS clarification

Hi everyone. I have a question: Is it normal that, after turning off the router, clicking the WPS button during power up, I do not see the Power LED blink (even after thirty seconds)? In my old RT-AC3200 Router I saw the Power LED flash, then I released the WPS button and restarted the whole...

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

No. It's a optimized version for Fire Stick and have only five settings: Send Usage Data - About - Privacy Notice - Clear all cookies and site data. It probably does not happen with the APK on the Google Play Store. Being an application made specifically for Fire Stick, they have decreased the...

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

Yes, in fact I put only two of the google sites in the whitelist thanks to the dnsmasq.log. However, every time it finds any site blocked in one of the lists, Firefox presents the "Secure connection failed" screen. This thing does not happen with Silk Browser instead. I use Firefox for the best...

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

Yesterday I installed Diversion, Entware and Skynet with firmware 384_8 Beta 2. Everything works perfectly. I can not understand a thing. I have a Fire Stick TV with Firefox. This browser uses Google as a search engine. When I do a search, shortly after, the error "Secure connection failed"...

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

Thanks a lot. You're always very kind. Also the AC86U router has 512MB, so I will also put 512 of Swap.

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

I am waiting for the final 384.8 version to install everything again. I had read some time ago of a suitable SWAP size for my AC-86U, but I can not find the discussion. When I install everything, what size do you recommend? Thanks so much!

AB-Solution - The Ad Blocking Solution

Hi @thelonelycoder . I'm sorry for the trouble, but i've a question: the best swap size for my RT-AC86U? Now, i've installed Skynet+Ab-Solution with 2GB of Swap. Thanks so much!

Trying to download AB Solution to a new RT-AC86U

I've always used Putty and I've never had any problems. Not even copy and paste.

AB-Solution - The Ad Blocking Solution

Wow! Looks so sweet. Will we be able to customize our choices through a graphical interface, such as Pi-Hole, for example (Web-UI)? Thanks for you gorgeous work.

AB-Solution - The Ad Blocking Solution

Hi! I've two little question: 1) AB-Solution 4 is still under development? 2) it's good to do the reset every time a new firmware update comes out. If I have installed AB-Solution and have to reset my router following an update, how should I behave? Do I have to delete everything in the USB...

[Preview] Early Asuswrt-Merlin 384.6 test builds are available

Nice! It's all clear! Thanks, guys! The best trial is to set a 192.168.10.1 and the next time when I need to initialize the router for new Merlin's firmware, see what happen.

[Preview] Early Asuswrt-Merlin 384.6 test builds are available

I did another trial. I disconnected the Modem / router with 192.168.1.1 and I initialized the Asus RT-AC86U. He came back with 192.168.1.1. Why if I leave the modem / router connected, do I keep 192.168.X.X? (ie what we decide and not that of dafault)? After 15s, I'll see some leds blinking?

[Preview] Early Asuswrt-Merlin 384.6 test builds are available

No, I don't think so. If I set 192.168.66.1 now, I'll have this number. But if I decide to initialize the router, I will always have 192.168.66.1 and not 192.168.1.1. I do not know if I explained myself. In short: if I initialize the router, the router must return to the factory settings...
